Speaking of the pi, I picked up a usb bluetooth adapter for bout $5 of slickdeals about a year ago, I was considering adding it to my pi and putting them both in my console.

There's a lot more to it than just the Pi. I plan to have a web site up sometime this Summer that will show people how to build their own IVI, and not just for the Focus. In the meantime, it's not yet ready for prime time.

I have no plans to sell the monitor, you can get them on Amazon for $170-$220. It's a Lilliput 669GL-70NP/C/T-HB-RV 7" touchscreen.

So how do I hook up my Amaze so I can see the screen on my MFT MONITOR?

too rich for my blood, I've been trolling ebay and craigslist looking for them, I'll find one soon enough. How does the touchscreen work with the pi? That's what I'd be hooking it up to.

I'll make an image available for the Pi once things are dialed in, it's too complex to describe here. There's also an Android software component that I am still working on. I have prototypes built on a couple of other low cost platforms so the Pi isn't the only option.

The touchscreen works for both the host OS and navigating your phone (excluding gestures).

I not a fan of touchscreens however and have a much better idea in mind for the IVI application.

I called Ford on that one as soon as I got 3.5.1. They were "aware". Maybe by 6.5.7 and Nav card A23 they'll fix it? Of course one shudders to think what things, like this, that were working they'll break between now and then. That's one of the most amazing things to me about the tortured course of MFT development: it's not just the stuff that's broken that doesn't get fixed. It's the stuff that's fixed that gets broken. Mind numbing.

Disappointment. It should be a very easy fix in the firmware, their reason must be they don't WANT wi-fi to work.

I love my MFT the what do you guys mean wifi will not work? The WiFi function in this car broadcasts a hotspot if you plug a usb modem into the usb port.
