Stage 2 cams hard on clutch?

So I think my mechanic wants to buy my street bike ill be able to get 1800$ for sure. I was thinking I would say to him 1000$ to me and he would install cams and spring, retainers. (Where do I find the rite springs, retainers for the swap) crane cams is not a well set up site to find anything.
Did anyone have problems with there clutch slipping when WOT?

My original plan was to do a 2.3 head swap but with this everything's going to be done proper and done quicker. Then I think I'm gonna stop modding the focus

To answer ur question stage 2 cams arent hard on your clutch. Do u have an intake, exhaust, header, tune, cold air intake? I would do those first before cams

Yeah got all the basic bolt ons now and the tuner. Do you have to buy adjustable cam gears?

Just to say $800. is some cash to install a set of cams. For a DD 20 motor, stage 2 cams are a bit to much. Get the 224-0010 ones. If you don't have issues w/ your clutch now. I didn't go w/ the adjustable cfm gears, for me no need.
