Hey all, absolutely new guy here. I'm not sure if I'm a "fanatic", but I'm certainly intrigued.

I've never driven a manual anything, or even a Focus. Right now I'm driving a 98 Ford Taurus, but it's come time to buy my own car for the first time, and I want it to be something smaller, fun, and reliable. I've decided that I'm going to get a zx3. I'll be reading anything that'll help me learn on these forums, and probably asking a ton of questions. If anyone has any links they'd like to share, that'd be awesome.

Welcome! Since you said zx3 you don't have to worry about the fail of the SOHC that came in the sedans... The Zetec engines were quite strong and with general maintenance an easy 200k mile car.... The best engines power wise that came in the zx3 was the duratec.. If you are planning to mod one. Def try to find one with it... Other than that earlier models had a fuel pump recall. Make sure that was done. Once again Welcome!

Hey everybody

Hey everybody! I just picked up an '03 focus svt. 5-door hatch variety, bone stock aside from tires one size thick on the sidewall. Never really was crazy about the focii until a friend let me take a spin in his svt and I was hooked. Really looking forward to tweaking it here and there to make it my own. The how-to body of knowledge was what brought me here. Excited to contribute and hopefully meet some other focus owners in the mid Atlantic!

Hey all

New here too! Picked up an 05 Focus zx4 SES a few months ago. Won't lie, was very hesitant at first, in fact I didn't even want to give it a chance when I was carshopping but I drove and loved it. Recently wanted to put some work into it and found this site and I've learned so much already so I figured I should sign up.
