Thanks man! I can't believe how much I love this thing. I've been driving a Ranger for the last decade, and it feels so good to be back in something that performs.

I'm going to tint it and get a new stereo soon, as well as install the dead pedal kit at some point, but I don't really have big plans for it. It already has a new timing belt, water pump, thermostat, clutch and sway bar links, so I'm pretty much set.

Maybe exhaust and a tune later down the line, but that would probably be it. It's my new daily driver, so I mostly just want to keep it running smoothly.

Personally, i would say get a tune. it is amazing how much better it drives with one. I have one from "TurboTom" (1turbofocus)
he does custom tunes and free updates as long as you stay naturally aspirated.

other companies do tunes, but i cannot vow for them. I LOVE MY TUNE..
the SVT Exhaust is pretty good as is.. if you do, i would go 3" mandrel bent.

Three inch is overkill, unless you have some serious N/A plans for the engine, or are going to go F/I.

its not quite overkill.. 2.5" isn't really any improvement at all with the SVT.
3" will help it flow better

I'm currently 18, to the statement above about 2.5" isn't an improvement, of coarse it's not, it comes stock with 2.5" exhaust. I checked when I cut mine last year while installing Borla catback. 3" exhaust on N/A?? no gains, we're talking a half to 3 hp, sorry but for a DD you cannot tell that kind of gain. You can even get away with a 2.5" exhaust for a turbo setup. To the original post, my view on the SVT is 8 out of 10. IMO Ford could have done more with it, like stock turbo (; but hey it is what it is right? Overall it's a great car and very dependable as long as you and previous owners treat(ed) right.
