Finally took out the entire rubber flap. The butt dyno feels better and my gas mileage is more consistent. It was really easy to remove. Took about 10 minutes start to finish.

Yeah im new to all of this too. I am 18, this is my second car, and the first time I've started modding a car. I've done almost all of the work on my own, besides the lunchbox delete. But the snorkel delete definitely added some small gains. I have loved it so far! Congrats on the mod!

I had to learn how a car worked mechanically pretty young because my early driving years were spent living with my mom whom couldn't afford to fix my car(s). When money is scarce you learn how to shade-tree a car in order to keep yourself employed. Gradually I was able to work up from cars that needed continual attention to more reliable used cars to finally buying new cars that I could trust. Mostly...

Even as I progressed from auto to aviation maintenance I always do as much work on my car as possible, short of warranty-related tasks. It's very rewarding imho to be able to dig into a new vehicle without having to pay someone and not be afraid of having to find another way to work the next day.

We all start somewhere, and never be afraid to ask for help (physically or mentally). Ensure you pay attention and learn from every new experience

I love working on my car. I take so much pride in it. with every change, mod and upgrade, i fall in love with my car.

Ive been extremely lucky to have this car at my age. One of my favorite things about it is that i have yet to see a modded MK3 focus in my area.

Wow I just did my regular daily commute with cruise control on. It definitily feels more responsive. Not only does it feel great but I had a small MPG jump from 39 to 41. Can't wait to see how it plays out over the next couple weeks.

I was so worried that I would not be able to get that rubber housing back in. A minuet and 30 seconds later, it was in!! -_- the only thing that NEEDS to be redesigns is the incredibly stupid headlight power clips!! I have broke both of them!! GHEYYY
