You could do the section of the center console around the shift boot. The bezel look great, I like the color choices

I imagine you could, but I'm not sure if you can take the face plate off. I'd think you would have to just mask the buttons off and be careful not to get anything in the cd player even though my cd player doesn't even work anymore.

Yeah I think your right that the whole console would be to much, I just meant the the trim right around the shift boot. Just something to tie into the first piece you did.

Your painting looks fine it just looks out of place with the rest of the interior imo.

I agree with that, I'm going to probably paint some other pieces to make it not stick out so bad... just want to make sure I don't over do it.
I'm digging the idea of the base of the shift boot and maybe the vents but leave the piece surrounding the gauge cluster.

And I can totally get behind looking like Van Halen's guitar hahaha
