I've taken the tags off of every car I've ever owned (not all of them, necessarily, but almost all). Usually a bit of hairdryer on the back with a screwdriver wrapped in a microfiber are good to get vast majority of it. The rest is just that same microfiber and goo-b-gone, then soap and water to clean up the area. Looks flawless.

I live in California and I never really see dealer badges on cars here (Except for CarMax). I've noticed on FF and in YouTube videos that people from other states often have dealer badges on their cars. New cars all have the paper plates, but my car was used, so it already had a license plate, but the dealer had their Villa Ford frame on each plate, which I took off.

Good to take them off right away. When I took mine off the sun faded the paint leaving the logo kinda imprinted. Had to wax it real good to get rid of it.
