You might want to try using one of these for the scoop.

This one fits, but since it has been awhile since I did the New Mission mod I forgot how the hose was orientated and bought this before looking under the car. I'm going to return this and get the one with a offset hole. For mounting I think I can slot the flange and put it on the existing tabs. I thought about using fiberglass but this is going to be a lot faster and easier. This is a brake scoop from a race supply shop near me.

Saw someone else ask without an answer. How do we S model drivers do this mod? I think the triangle is a solid piece on my car. I didn't see what looked like a removable air dam.

Edit: would this still be a beneficial mod with the air box removed?

"S" models are one piece yes. You'll have to buy and SE model grille, or drill holes/cut out the one you have.

Removing the air box completely would be worse than leaving it alone, as your engine will just recirculate hot air.

I'll put the box back in when I do this mod then.
Got the part number for those?
Or better yet would it work with that billet grille on eBay?

The part number for just the "triangles" alone is floating around here somewhere. You may be able to snag one off someone here that upgraded. But they run about $54 new from what I remember.
