i'm putting mine on as soon as the snow is gone. because well, no garage means changing wheels outside and i don't want to be doing that in snow. plus then i can just give the inside and outside a nice detail.

Guys... He lives in British Columbia, On Victoria island, They don't get anything compared to the Prairie winters, its mild with lots of rain. Its like Seattle with winters. Very beautiful, and great salmon fishing in late july. Beautiful car dude, great pic! stunning really.

Yeah, I guess where he lives makes the early change-over possible, but elsewhere it's going to be a while before we can safely change to summer tires.

I think somebody needs to hunt down that scum bag known as Punxsutawney Phil and fire him!

Vancouver Island

Yes, our winters are very mild. We get a couple dumps of snow and a few months where there can be icy roads.

It's very natural and beautiful here, and the fishing is good but not like it used to be.

Thanks so much for the compliments on the car/pic everyone.

Damn victorians and your beautiful weather. I looked at my summer tires yesterday. It's gonna be at least another month before I can think about putting those back on. Probably gonna be longer than that.

Sent from your mom's house.

You may recall my earlier thread where I was thinking about just getting an ST. Well, I still am, but maybe a bit later on like a year from now. I want to see what happens when used STs hit the market, and also what kind of pricing etc. we Canadians will see on the Fiesta ST.

I really wasn't too picky for my new wheels but just wanted something that didn't have a) Chrome or b) any brushed metal lips, or other brushed parts.

Luckily enough a local tire shop happened to have ordered in a set of 5x108 17" 6-spoke Konigs that are graphite colour. (No different coloured lip or any of the brushed metal crap). They were also pretty cheap. They aren't really the coolest looking wheels I've seen, but think they make the car look a lot better than it did stock with the 16" steelies and hubcaps.

Next, I want to get slightly lowering springs and/or HIDs.

That is all. Thanks for looking!
Real nice looking!
Do you have any more side pics? Trying to decide on wheels...

Haha it's definitely not summer, but pretty much spring now. Today it was 13C after work at around 430. Perfect temperature for me.
