Other than one station for recreational fuel that's not really road legal I don't see any stations near me that claim to lack ethanol. Per fueleconomy.gov there were at or over 168,000 gas stations in the United States as of 2004. Supposing that 100% of the stations listed still actually had E0 fuel at all or were even open to the public for road use, leaded av-gas doesn't really count, and nor should fuel at the marina that means that up to 3.86% of all the listed stations in the country claim to have fuel without ethanol in it. Which is as I said a drop in the bucket compared to the total number of stations selling fuel. http://www.fueleconomy.gov/feg/quizz...erQuiz16.shtml Under 4% qualifies as only a few stations relative to the total number in the system.

6500 stations across a whole nation is really only a few stations in the grand scheme of things. There are plenty of states that have very few to none stations that have ethanol free gas.

if you look at the map on that website you'll see all of those e0 gas stations are in rural/middle of nowhere areas. My brother lives in Harrisonburg, VA though and when I go visit him I'm going to fill up on e0
It's not bad for the car, right?

It would also require that the stations sell fuel that was road legal which would also significantly narrow the list down since many of the listed stations sell e0 as recreational fuel or for off road use only. (Air/ land/ sea) E.x. being used for the generator on an RV. E0 won't hurt the car, in fact you should see better fuel economy by stripping out the ethanol.

I am just waiting on cessna1 to chime in and explain to us all how destroyed tanks and fuel systems, damaged 2 stroke equipment and boat motors is a good thing, and why owners of said equipment and classic and antique cars and motorcycles are just suppose to suck it up and deal with the damage and or cost of retrofitting their vehicles at their own cost so the corn growers and ethanol producers can continue to force this crap on the rest of us through their continued lobbying of congress, and E0 quickly becomes a thing of the past.

AZ, I was just sticking up for ethanol on my favorite airplane forum and had to prove something to myself before I posted. Two years ago I mixed a gallon of E10/oil for the Stihl 017 that my dad bought new in 2001. I use it once in awhile to cut small scrub trees down. It warmed into the 40's today so I just cut another tree. Think of that, the two year old fuel still made the saw run. I think my secret is that the jug of fuel and the tank on the saw are sealed from the atmosphere.
