Offset problems
I am driving on 17x7 wheels they are the stock svt 5 spoke ones. I read that they have an offset of like +52. Would I be able to run 18x7.5 with a lower offset like +30 or +40?

The stock SVT rims are 49mm if I remember correctly. How low are you going? I have Sparco rims that are 18x7.5 with 35mm offset. I'm fairly low and on big dips in the road (or when I have someone as passenger), the sidewall of the tire will rub against where the quarter panel and the bumper meets... front and rear. I'm on 205/40/18 tires.

I have 18x7.5 with 45mm offset.
With a 2.2 drop they rubbed in the same place place mentioned above in the rear, I did some cutting and hammering it's fine now even with three in the back. The front has never rubbed even lock to lock. ![]() ![]() ![]()
