I drove the car over 500 miles this weekend and haven't noticed and problems. Unlike others I have read here the gas mileage seems decent for a car that's not broken yet and the transmission seems to shift nice as well. Any input as to if this has happened to others is grealy appreciated....
That's been discussed about a thousand times in the MK3 sub forum here:http://www.focusfanatics.com/forum/f...play.php?f=121
That is considered a normal sound per a service note provided from Ford saying something about the shift actuators and the clutches going to a neutral position to be ready to start the car.
Why some people seem to notice this, and others do not is beyond me.
