i had this......88 ranger extended cab 2.9......miss the hell out of that truck. in fact o only sold it because i couldnt afford insurance at the time for this focus which was a gift and that truck. my pride. hmmmm

you guys have helped me have a breakthrough. i havnt let go of my truck thats why i cant get into this car. maybe if i start working more with my focus i will forget all about ranger rita....

well maybe it's because you have an spi jk lol. do you do any of the work on your car or does a garage take care of it? some people connect more with a car when they are the one's doing the work compared to those that just drive it.

i do all the work myself. just did the starter....hope i never have to do that again fyi. i took it in once to pet the left wheel bearing in because i didnt have a press. i did the right myself in a hobby shop. but couldnt do the left due to money at the time and distance blah blah blah.

by connect do you mean all the chunks of skin this engine has stole from me?

family room needed. gas mileage needed. zippyness needed. truck was just first love i think. plus i lived in it for a while. and used it for countless moves and dirtbiking and camping and mexico smuggling. aaaahhhhh memories

I hear you on this...I hated my last car, which wound up being a GM POS. I regretted trading in for it right away, and it intensified the more I realized what a fail it was in every way.

I like mine because of it being fun, handles great easy to drive grat gas mileage, for its small size its easy to zip in and out of parking spaces.When this one goes I will get another one.I replaced my Super Duty with the Focus talk about a big move
