Rain!!!!!!

any time its raining heavy and im behind another car on the freeway.

example: when there is enough water on the road and the car ahead of me is close enough to cause my car to drive thru his heavy mist being thrown up by his tires and wind......

my car bogs waaaay waaaaay down and my speedometer goes all wacko. as soon as i change lanes and am in the clear its straight vroom vroom again no problems. even in heavy down poor i have no problem...its that car in front of me that causes this issue every time.

Don't follow so closely? But it actually sounds as if you are getting moisture into your electrical system some where. I would check the coil pack and wires first. Also try some di-electric grease on the spark plugs and coil pack contacts.

But I would pick up some CRC electrical cleaner and clean your MAF sensor and perhaps even your TPS.
