In North America, the Focus platform was unchanged 2000-2007 = MKI 2008-2011 was the MKII here, and 2012+ is MK3

Thanks, what's considered a better than average kit as far as drivability, handling and adjustability goes?

The VMaxx is what I run. You can adjust height.
I don't know much about the ksports and H&Rs.
The KW v1 is height adjustable
The KW v2 are height adjustable and you can adjust the dampening.
The KW v3 are height adjustable, dampening adjustable and rebound adjustable.

Hope that helps.

Thanks, I noticed the ksport's have the spring on the rear shock in the picture. Is this right? If so what happens to the rear stock spring?

That's just a generic photo. The front is the typical coilover and the rear is a shock with a spring. On the bottom of the spring is an adjustable bracket.
