Cheap alternative to a clearbra?

The non glossy clear plastidip makes the color of the paint it is covering turn into a matte or flat finish.

Also, to spray the front of the car with plastidip would cost $30 bucks max, not $100-$200

yeah but if you ever want to peel it off in one nice piece, you need to build up the layers.

Yes, you would want 3-4 layers for easy removal

I was thinking $100-200 for the full car. That's what I've read it usually costs, at least. I've seen a full car ClearBra quoted at somewhere around $2000. I have no idea how long a full car worth of Plasti-Dip would actually last, but if it lasts long enough and protects the paint well enough, it might work?

Then again, $125 for a real ClearBra on the hood seems pretty cheap so that might be the better option to go with.

SOLD! I am buying one. 50 bucks isn't bad and it actually protects it. The hood is the only spot I am worried. To bad I didn't see this earlier though.

Why would you do the whole car if your just trying to protect your car from rock chips?
