Going to start off with a drop in filter then maybe upgrade to a SRI later on.
No need for a full one or tune.

I did the homemade SRI, taking out the whole assembly from throttle body to fender air box. I cut the MAF tube and used the Spectre filter. Not the best filter, but a AEM dryflow will be ordered up soon. Never a wetness issue, or CEL. I love it for $20!

I got the fswerks cai on craigslist for $60 bucks, it was a great steal lol. But yeah I automatically found a difference in the tone at high rpms and even a boost in acceleration. I do not have the ITG filter that came with it as the one i bought used was in bad shape so I put a K&N filter on there, words great

Anyone with opinions on the CFM intake with the AEM bypass?
Also any ideas how effective the bypass is to prevent hydrolock?

I have a K&N on my 2012 and I love it. Definitely noticed anincrease on the butt dyno. Mpg increases are minimal but sound is awesome. Has a little boxer like rumble to it.

I Have the fswerks cai and I'm in Washington, no splashqaurd, and it rains a lot and have never had a problem. But was considering switching because my filter does get soaked
