My SVT. It was paid off, still ran great, and got better gas mileage. Really wish I would have given her just a little TLC by fixing some odds and ends and throwing a tune or even a little FI at it. Some kid from I think Alma bought it.

But I do not miss changing the oil on it compared to my scooby though. Minus the uppipe, this thing has been very easy to wrench on.

Edit: changing plugs sucks too...

My dad had a 105th anniversary addition harley sportster he was supposed to give me first shot at buying, but he got offered more than he paid for it new, and I never had a chance to match the price....

As for a car I actually owned.

I had a 93 chevy s-10 with the 4.3 v6. When I sold it in 03 to buy my focus it had more problems than i could throw money at. I actually wound up spending less per month with a new car payment than I was dropping into the s-10.

Though I do not miss that particular headache, i do miss owning a truck. I am currently looking for an old beater pick-up, but life keeps getting in the way.

I regret losing my 1979 280E with only 84K miles. I was only the second owner.

I have to admit, I have gotten used to good fuel mileage. With house expenses, my transportation needs to be as cheap as possible. But I would be lying if I said I still don't regret trading it in.
That Jeep was a blast to drive. And therapeutic as well.
Nothing like the doors off, top down ride in the Summer after having a bad day.
The Focus at 83K has served me well, and I am grateful to have a good running reliable car.

I wish I had never gotten rid of my 74 Ford Maverick 2 door with a 351 Windsor in the beast.

True.. sort of. I've been lucky. My car was taken care of before I bought it. And a lot of the common issues with the Mk4 1.8T's have already been addressed.

The only thing I've really had to fix so far was the tstat.. anything else I've repaired was because I wanted to upgrade anyway, like the downpipe.

But looking at prices of some things.. OEM parts definitely aren't cheap.

Yes, I regret having to sell my 1969 Yenko Camaro. That really hurt. Brought tears to my eyes.

Was that a real Yenko or a recreation?
