Air Conditioning Review Needed

I am thinking about getting a 2013 Focus HB, my speed3 was totaled last week. Just thinking about leasing a 2013 for 24 months, but I am looking for a review of the air conditioning. I live in Atlanta and it gets HOT. My GF BMW 328 is horrible, the air never gets cold in the summer.

Also I think the systems are the same on the 2012

Please let me know, looking to make the deal this weekend.

Unfortunately it hasn't been warm enough here for me to really test it. The one day I used it I was satisfied.

It seemed to work well enough for me last summer during our heat wave in the Midwest. Granted, we topped out only about 103, but the air kept me nice and cool. I'm picky about air conditioning; I like it cold enough to hang meat if needed, and I have no complaints about the air in my Focus.

I rented a 2012 S HB when I was in Louisana in March last year. I don't remember how cold the A/C was, but I definitely remember not ever being uncomfortable with the car.

I have a 2012 Job 2, and we had some 100+ degree days here in St. Louis. The a/c did beautifully in our humid weather, even making my hands cold when they were near the vents. I put the auto to 70, and it didn't need full blast to keep it at that temperature.

However, I also have 35% tint in front and 15% around the back, so I'm sure that helped, too.

I got too cold from it lol. I prefer windows, though. A/C sucks lots of power if you do lots of stop and go.

Never had any issues with the A/C last year. Mine's an earlier build (9/2011) and the A/C was great all last year. The Focus is a lot larger than my previous car, so it took a little while longer to cool the larger thermal mass, but the cooling performance is excellent.

Nah, I had a ZX2. Focus is a larger in every dimension, and including the 13 cubic foot hatchback volume (which the A/C still has to cool since unlike the sedan, there's no insulated barrier to the space), the interior is 24 cubic feet larger. The passenger compartment itself is 11 cubic feet larger. The ZX2's 80 cubic foot interior is closer to the Fiat 500's 76 cubic feet than to the Focus' 91.
