drivers side mirror replacement

Has anyone replaced the drivers side mirror? Had a hit & run so I'm going to have to fix it myself. Just hoping someone has some tips so I don't ruin anything else fixing it. It's a 2010 se with power mirrors. Thanks for any help.

Have you tried using the search function? I know we have several threads on converting manual mirrors to power mirrors. That should be enough pics to help.

I can't get the search function to work as I only have a smartphone & no computer. I just started looking at ebay for one. Haven't called a dealer to check their price or a salvage yard.

Never on a 10 but on an 07 and older you popped off the triangle interior plastic piece and there were 3 torx bit screws that held the mirror in place along with an electrical clip for the power aspect of the mirror.

A very simple replace.

Basically the same as you described. I got the old mirror off today & looking for a replacement now. After pulling off the triangle piece with the mirror control switch there are three 10mm headed bolts & the wires to disconnect & thats it. Just wondering if its worth $100 for a new mirror from ford or get it off ebay for $50?

With mirrors your pretty safe with ebay. Its just a piece of glass on a piece of plastic.
