I couldn't pick up my car today because they sent it to Ford for warranty check on whatever it is. So they gave me a loaner car just like mine and so far, I love it!

That was my first thought too, but I checked the pictures again. Nope, he's right.

Hrm, that does raise questions.

In that case either a previous owner was half way through changing the headlamps or the car was in some sort of front end collision on that side as only one side is wrong. It could have been a factory mix up, but that's doubtful. The ti/st1-2 headlamp is cheaper than the standard aluminum housings though which may be why the insurance company would have used it instead of the actual part if that was the case.

Also, how can I tell which Equipment Group package I have on my car? I have a feeling I have a 300A due to cloth seats instead of leather seats...

I am going to talk to my salesperson about this situation - they didn't even say anything about it but I did find front axle repair on the carfax and the title is still clean...

Go to www.etis.ford.com and under vehicle information type in your vin, then expand the minor features to see what the car was built with.

If it does not have myford touch it is likely a 300a if it was an SEL with cloth seats.

I'm going to see if I can swap this car for the loaner car I am currently using. I like the loaner car better due to leather seats and I'm sure the loaner was not in an accident or fender bender...

Friday was my 1 year anniversary from buying my Focus. 27,000 miles and 19 states driven accross I would say this is a pretty darn solid daily beater. Looking forward to driving it for many more years!

Hi all. Noob here. Have had my Focus since 7/11 and loving it. Just found Focus Fanatics and registered recently regarding the transmission issues, not that i'm having them myself but i can't remember what brought me here in the first place.

I'm waiting for winter to pass so i can get my car washed spic and span and take some sweet pics of it with my DSLR to add to my collection. The ones i have now don't seem to do it justice.

Loving all the pics on here btw. And am envious of the 'triangle' rims... and am considering 'blacking out' mine as well. Chrome highlights are nice, but blacked out looks menacing!

When i got a clear highway in front of me, it's autobot red all the way! When i'm stuck in bumper to bumper.. i choose decepticon purple or Tron blue to mellow me out and cease the urge to kill. Ambient light. Such a small feature.. so many lives saved.
