2005 ZX3 no overdrive when button is engaged

I have a 2003 ZX3 with 80,000 miles on it and when the overdrive button is engaged, it will slip out of gear and rev up high. When I have the OD disengaged. the shifting from first to second happens at about 4000 rpm and sometimes when I let off the gas. When I get it going into second it wont change into another gear. If I press the OD button, the gear slips out like it is in neutral and wont engage. I have changed the fluid and filter, SSA and SSC, the TPS, and still it hasn't gotten better. I have had a code scanner hooked up to it and no codes show. The OD light sometimes will blink orange but then goes green after the car has been off. I had read that maybe hooking up the code scanner and clearing the code and resetting the pcm might help. Any ideas. Thanks.
