Rear bumper cover --where to buy?

The 2007 sedan I have came with a body kit on it from a previous owner and I do not care for the look. I found a new front bumper for $65 new in black primer. For some reason the source for that one had the rear bumper at almost $200.

Where would be a good source for a rear bumper at a reasonable price?

I am not sure if I am searching in the wrong places, or is there something that makes the rear bumper so much more expensive than the front?

imo, its probably more expensive than a front bumper because its replaced less frequently.

have any local salvage yards, have you tried craigslist? problem with buying online is that shipping is usually pricy.

I have been looking on CL for a while. There are only a couple of salvage yards I was able to find near by with no luck. I may try and put out a wanted add on the local craigslist for it.

On a side note, I just picked up my brand new front bumper and dropped it off to get sprayed to match the car.
New bumper---------$69
Painted to match----$125

It seemed like a reasonable deal for the front.

Can any one comment on if the rears from 00-04 will fit on 05-07 sedans?

I know the zx3 will swap from 00-07 but cant recall if the zx4s are the same. Might increase your choices.

From what I have seen in searching, the sedans were different from the hatches. I also believe the 05-07 are different from the previous years slightly.

you can fit the 05-07 on the 00-04 but can't do 00-04 on 05-07 the reason is because the trunk meets the bumper at a different spot

i checked ebay the cheapest i found was this one
http://www.ebay.com/itm/FORD-FOCUS-S...3d9ad6&vxp=mtr
if i hit up a junkyard i will let you know what i find
