mk1 over-fueling like crazy

hi all had a problem the other night loss of power engine light came on sulphur smell inside car googled it and alot said it was coilpack or plugs or leads so i changed them all car was all good again but its now over fueling like crazy just going a few miles drops the needle also noticed the temp gauge goes to middle in about 90 seconds of start up any idea please on what i need to change next thanks for your time
