I wired in a switch next to me steering colum it's not too difficult but defiantly talk to Daniel about the easiest path to get past the firewall. Basic setup is battery-fuse-switch-lights and as much wire to get to each place.

ginger wheels... mmmm....

and yeah, Josh has the basis down.. well, plus grounding the leds.
there are ways to go thru the fender.. or thru the firewall itself.
i deleted my hood latch and release... so my led power wires are going thru there.

My favorite thing about this site is no matter how a thread starts we always resort to talking about mods :)

Also there is a plasti dip thread on here that you should check out. There are a lot of cool ideas and the best part is you can remove the dip clean with no effort. They make it in all sorts of colors such as red and orange.

ewwww... plastidip.. hahaha.. jk
i took part in the phase..

its a good temporary thing.

like to test out color ideas before going full on with it...
i wouldn't want to roll around long term with it.
just my personal take.

Defiantly not the best perminate medium but its like you said great for testing color schemes. It does however last a long while. I have had my eye lids and my grill dipped and has lasted over a year without touch up.
