2010 Focus SEL hesitation
My 2010 Focus is hesitating / surging ever-so-slightly while at speed. Could it be the engine control module needs to be re-flashed???
I have changed the spark plugs and added fuel system cleaner ( Lucas ) with. O benefit. |

Try turning off the Traction Control and/or the overdrive (if auto trans)...see if that does anything. I know that my 2009 SES has this (I notice it most with air conditioning on and at about 1500 RPM, slight hill and 40 to 50 MPH).

No heck engine lights. Tried turning off the traction control with no luck. Will try the overdrive button but I don,t think that's it.
Anyone have the Engine Management Chip reprogrammed??? |
