running ms on the zetec would not be any different between the zx2 and zx3 unless you plan on keeping the vct, which idk why you would lol

there are instructions on the diyautotune site that tells how to run ms on the zetec. it will run the engine perfectly fine. looking forward to seeing this one make some power with it

probably wont see anymore then 350-400, zx2's tranny is a huge weak point. I've done a few things to it to help, but I'm sure I'll still break it (again).

Broke the case around the diff area last time.

you running a g series im guessing. i dont know the zx2 to much but i know the older escorts with the bp had a g series... how difficult would it be to swap in a mtx75? custom axles and some mounting.

Ya custom mounts and axles. Mounts wouldn't be hard as I can make that myself, but the axles are another story. I'm sure eventaully I'll have no choice but to do the swap. Also G series is shafts for shifting and mtx is cables.

Also mtx75 mods are wayyy cheaper, and better choices for clutch's.

If I sold off my G series stuff, I could easily pay for the mtx swap.

yeah i did a bp swap on my festiva. g series fits right in the festiva lol. i dont think switching from those shafts to cable would be hard. you would just need to get the cables and shifter with the trans from a junk yard when you do the swap. good luck with those axles. custom cv's are stupid expensive. putting a 8.8 irs in my miata would be cheap if it wasnt for custom cv's
