I get about 430 miles per fillup on the mean streets of Tucson. It's about 50/50 freeway/city driving.

I'm at 385 on the first tank, about 3/8 tank left...

I must be doing something very wrong.

I'm getting around 300 miles to a tank, and that's sparsely populated city driving 80%.

5 speed hatch. Freeway at 72mph as much as possible. Fuelly.com says I'm averaging 34.7mpg. Took this pic right after I got almost 37mpg on one tank.

Early on during break in I was seeing 275-300 a tank. After the first transmission flash and about 2000 miles on the odometer I was seeing a range of 300-325. After 12B37 and my second oil change at around 11000 miles I started seeing 350-375. Then after my third oil change at 16000 I saw a jump to 375-400 miles per tank. And now, sitting at about 20000 miles on the clock I've seen three tanks in a row of over 400 miles per tank, and this tank (if it stays on course) is calculating a 475 mile tank of gas (which is my best yet). I am loving this car more and more and it appears to be settling into a good groove.

Plus one on this, my mileage kept increasing for several thousand miles and has settled in, I can easily do 450 miles plus on a long highway only trip, But...a tank in town and its no where close to that....likely closer to 275-300 depending on weather and traffic and the weight of my foot.

I often average around 450miles (mostly hwy), 720km.

My best though was a round trip from Toronto to Ottawa and back. Almost all hwy @ 80km/h (50mph). About 887 km (550miles). That was driving like a granny on a mostly two lane highway, so if you got stuck behind someone you were likely there for awhile.

600 miles would be difficult.. but doable with some good hypermiling and likely some slight eco mods (newmission + LRR tires etc..)

My best was 486.0 miles this past summer - averaged 45.0 MPG on 93 Premium Shell V-Power, 90% highway, from Erie, PA through NY (including an overnight in Rochester) and the twisties before fueling up in Lake George.
