I have a Coolant leak help please?
Hey everybody I have a coolant leak on the right side of my engine, at 1st I thought it was the Water Pump, but the Water Pump is on the left... Can I please have some advice or suggestions I got some pics here, I just took pics of the area that I saw the coolant at I have no idea where the coolant is leaking from:

It's more than likely the thermostat housing which is a known weak spot on the Zetec motors. It's a cheap and easy fix. But just double check your hoses as well to make sure they are not dry rotted and cracking on the underside. There are quite a few threads about how to replace/fix this. I thought there was a How-To in one of our archives but I can't seem to find it at the moment. Just search around and I am sure you will find it quick enough.

Definitely looks like the thermostat housing. I just did mine on Sunday because I had a very similar leak. Just don't waste time getting it done. I noticed a small leak Saturday and when I woke up Sunday there was a puddle under my car

my svt has the same leak....but for me its not the housing, its the plug held in with a clip on the thermostat housing.. could this be your issue?

You drive an 02. All the way to the 04's with the zetec were notorious for the. Cracked thermostat housing. I went through 4 housings in 7 years.

Dorman makes a complete housing with thermostat and all gaskets for about $45 all put together and ready to mount. It's a 1/2 job, very easy to do.

Damnnn so it most likely has something to do with the Thermostat or Thermostat Housing...
