I do know on hard right turns they can oil starve cuz of lack of baffling but I'm sure you won't be taking that hard of turns on the street.

They sound good and run healthy. I've always been a fan.
what he said.

for the starvation issue just run an extra quart of oil is the suggestion.

the 99-00's have an extra 5hp because of cam changes.

the trans is the same MTX-75 as the focus but with a different bellhousing.

That's good news. I heard about the oil starving but yea, I won't be taking hard turns. Lol

Nice!

I found a Silver one on Craigslist. The guy is asking $3800. Lots of new maintenance parts installed. 116,000mi. Looks pretty clean. I really wish I had the money right now. I would have to sell my car and use all my tax money. I think it would be a great winter daily.

That's what I paid for mine. I'd get it down as close to 3k as possible. They just aren't worth that much anymore without a proper swap or stupid low miles

Yea. I would offer 3k if I had the money but I don't until I sell my pontiac and get my tax return. Then I gotta convince Dad to let me buy it. Lol. By that time the car will probably be gone. The guy said he had a few calls and people waiting for there tax return as well. I dunno. It's kinda a long shot at the moment.

So the 2-tires I got (used) off ebay for autox are apparently 5 years old, and there is about a 2in long vertical crack in the rubber in one of the tread grooves but it does not show through the back side.

Are these OK to run autox only or should I get mah money back?
