just ANOTHER example of dealer techs not knowing ass from elbow... WHY does ford not train these guys?

When i bought my car my dealer activated the DRLs at my request. Afterward i found out that all lights were on and not just
the headlights... so... as i bought my car at a (very good) dealer 60 miles away and didn't want to drive there for something
so simple as deactivating them, i went to my very close local ford dealer... They had the car all day when i got
a call saying that they can't figure out how to deactivate them and they were gonna charge me an hourly rate to
figure it out and do it (200+$!!). I said forget it and took it back to the dealer where i bought it.. It took all of
10 minutes for them to deactivate it properly.

Moral of story: some dealers suck or are inept... others are much better trained.

cory,, i've no issues at all w/ my heater.. seems to work fine....and the heated seats are super hot.... no issues there...

SE manual controls, 65 mph on hi-way, outside temp 32 F, fan on 1, heat set to max on, air to dash vents, measured 170 F plenty hot. I am the one that posted heat when turned to cold.
No help from ford to fix so I installed a 4 port heater control valve from
http://www.thermotion.com/topic/18-e...rol-valve.aspx
with a dpdt center off switch in glove box (just want it in bypass for summer and open for winter, must be bypass and not cut off)
