2012 w/Sync, what do I need?
I want to install a NAV head unit rather than use a standalone Garmin. I know where to find the Metra dash kit, but what else do I need to keep everything functional?
I tried a search, but it failed to answer my question. If you have links to specific products, that would be sweet. Thanks. |

If you have sync and like it, you can always get the metra dash kit and install an android tablet or similar in the double din opening for nav and music. Just fit it in there and bluetooth the audio into the sync system. It works well; the steering wheel controls will work with the bluetooth all handled through sync.

The head unit I wanted just went on sale, so I decided to move ahead.
I ordered the Metra 99-5827b. The Axxess frst-2 and the Metra 40-EU10 for the antenna. Seems from what I have read, this is all I need, right? |
