Euro-spec mirrors on North American focus.
Hello friends,

I want to replace the side-view (power) mirrors on my 2000 SE with folding mirrors from a Mk1 European Focus.

I have had my driver's side mirror broken off three times now (and the passenger side once) because they cannot be folded against the car. I live in the city, and the car is always parked on the street. Anyway, did a little research and discovered one of the many ways in which the European market Mk1 Focus was superior to the North American version is that the mirror "wings" fold.

Has anyone done this? I see no reason why the European parts should not fit, and would get a real kick out of this if it works.

SVT mirrors fold, and will bolt right on and plug into your current harness. It will take you about 5 min to swap to SVT mirrors. I have a set for sale

The Euro side mirrors are both convex which takes a little getting used to.

Like the others said , the svt mirrors fold and are power mirrors with defroster. Way cheaper than have a set mail to you from across the pond.

I'd like to get that convex mirror glass in mine, too! That sounds awesome... like the factory tinted glass they don't do here...
