Buy a new motor mount or replace poly

Hey guys,

I bought the VF Poly Rear Engine Mount for my 03 SVT about 2.5 years ago from you. And I can only guess, that over 2 years of Hardcore AutoX racing, that it has decided to slowly move out.

It's not out of the mount just yet, but it's getting there.

So, my question, should I just get a new Poly insert, or do you guys recommend me just buying a new lower motor mount all together?
The mount itself is solid and has no cracks or issues. Just the Poly moving out of it.

Would like to get this resolved by next AutoX event. Which is early March.

Oh and bonus question, do you guys have any other extreme Camber adjustment kits besides the FSWerks one? If not no worries, I will just order those with the answer from the question above.

I would recommend the CFM race lower engine mount for autocross. It uses a stiffer bushings, and it is a one piece bushing too. It will not push itself out over time like the VF one.

The standard camber plates we offer is 1 degree of adjustment. Our cfm lower control arms do offer more camber adjustment too.

The Fswerks racing camber plates are design to be used with coilovers. It require cylindrical spring to be used with it.

The cfm race is a serious good piece compared to the vf engineering.

yes CFM mount wont use the 2 piece style like VF does its solid poly bushings go with CFM i havent tried the CFM race but the CFM road poly is real nice...... whats the stiffness difference

Thanks. Okay I will order the CFM race one then.

Okay, back to the Camber plates.
I am wanting to achieve 2-3 negative degrees of front camber.

Do you guys recommend going with the FSWerks one or your lower control arm?

I am running on H&R race springs with KYG AGX adjustable shocks.

Ray, you can't use the FSWerks one unless you have coilovers. They will not work with your suspension. I think you might be able to try the Kmac ones but they are not cheap. The regular camber plates usuallybdo not hold up well for autocross from what I've hear from some of the hardcore racers. Only other option is the cfm front lca's. They will give you all the adjustment you need but I don't know about durability as far as autox goes.
