Is there an abbreviated guide to the voice commands for NAV? Specifically, commands to define a destination in the various ways one can define a destination. Sometimes you may want the full street address in the form:

Street#, StreetName, City, Zip, State


At other times you may want:

StreetName1, StreetName2, City, Zip, State


And at other times you may simply want:

City, State

Yeah, I have a SGNexus as well as a company iP4 and have used Google Maps, but in many places out west there is no cell coverage so you'd have to cache it before hand. I have MFT with NAV so I would prefer to use those tools than eat data I shouldn't have to eat. It would be nice if the interface were as easy to use as Google Maps, particularly destination selection.

Yes - the 1st time, I thought it was on drugs. I was driving just fine on the freeway when it started to reroute me off the freeway on to side streets. At the time, I thought it was messed up because I forgot it could do that. Well, needless to say, I ignored the Nav and spent 45 minutes stuck in traffic. Now I pay attention. (BTW - I've only noticed that it reroutes when I have programmed a destination.)

What version of MFT were you running at the time?

Yeah, you have to have a route set for it to work. You can set it to automatic (which I'm guessing you did based on your above example) and it will automatically reroute or you can set it to manual (which is where I keep mine) and then a pop-up will inform you of each individual incident and ask you to choose to "avoid" or "ignore".

Mine has worked w/2.11, 3.0.2, 3.2.2, and now 3.5.1.
