squeeky seats

my side bolsters on both driver and pasanger seats squeek. its noticable on roads that are not so smooth where the occupant is getting moved around in the seat a bit. It is friken annoying. anyone else here have this issue , im going to the dealer soon to get it dealt with. the car is a 2012 se with heated seats.

i too find the driver's seat squeeks a bit on rough roads... the passenger seat tho does not... perhaps it the electrical equp. inside the driver elec. seat?
opinions or experiences anyone?

A squeeking driver's seat became an intermittant problem soon after taking delivery of my 2012 se with sport pkg, north of Toronto. The first time I complained, the dealer couldn't find a problem. At the next oil change, they were able to hear it. I weigh 200lbs, and tended to have this noise problem more often than my considerably lighter daughter.

My service invoice has the following info:

L#: 3; w/I/R: R; Labour Instruction: 81 Seat and Operation Concerns - check and report on driver side frt seat track squeeking when going over bumps. Correction - Parts ordered seat track part #cv6z5861705c.

The noise has not returned since the seat track was replaced, several months ago. Just to clarify, though, I'm not sure if it the bolsters that were my problem, or some other part of the seat.

I had a squeak coming from under my left leg that seems to have gone away. Thought it was actually my clutch pedal at first. Haven't even bothered to have it seen to since I can't consistently reproduce. I also have an SE with sport package.

Hey folks!

A good first step to get the squeak out is to swing by your dealerships. Our pros are specially trained to track down mystery noises like this one. Keep me in the loop; if you need any assistance, just give me a shout.

My friends in Canada should feel welcome to call my Ford Canada colleagues at 1-800-565-3673.

Mine does the same thing. It's the leather rubbing on the plastic down by the bottom left of of the seat by the door. There is a piece of fabric stitched below the leather to probably stop this from happening. Only problem is that when the seats wear over time, the foam looses its strength and causes the leather to rub against the plastic causing a squeaking sound. What's interesting is that I recently had a 2013 rental with leather while my 2012 was in for service and I noticed that the fabric comes up much further on the bottom of the seat than in my 2012.
