It ask depends on what your definition of 'stock' is. I'm sure that the majority will agree that it would be the car in it's pure form-straight from the dealer. Any 'modification' to that would take the car out of 'stock' form.

So in my opinion only- no, your car is not stock.

Agreed, I have had put in gas and, a few oil changes along with a few rock chips. So, it is not stock.

I'm at the point now where I'm most likely out. I just picked up a second mustang and a spare 302. Back to the dark ages where I can tune without a computer.

So much bitterness in this thread.. remember it's about us wanting a tune. If some people think that a car that made 2012 car and drivers 10 best list then they can keep being delusional. There is a want for the tune, and with time, it will be made.

No need to act dumb or continue going off-topic. You've tinted your windows and shown pictures that you covered your drivers window in stickers. You've also attempted designing an intake and whatever else.

I'm surprised that you would go from telling everyone to throw random turbos on their cars to arguing that we shouldn't have a tune available for our cars. Figure out which side of the fence you want to be on and just commit to staying there.

I always wonder that the thinking behind SCT, Cobb, Superchips etc is that individuals who buy enthusiast cars are more likely to modify their ride. From my experience this is true. I think we need to check with other platforms that did not receive a turbo/sport/enthusiast model but got around the roadblock of 'oh hum, wo is me' metality and got sh!t done.

mazdaspeedforums.org was a pretty radical crowd, one that didn't take any garbage from other platforms (look up the Royal Purple MSF VS 8th gen matchup lol) and came up with some AMAZING feats without having a lot of vendors or even full tuning available at first. For quite some time, Mazdaspeeds (3 and 6) were just side projects, not worthy of the attention of Evo's and STI's. Dare I say even the Genesis is getting some attention now. Yes, the MK3 Focus is an upscale mid-compact with decent power vs mpg and there will be battles to the nth degree between modding and just getting an ST. Hey, a lot of us are just looking for a bit more power/handling fun car enjoyment and don't need 500whp.

We just need the wand to make the magic.

I'll end this "stock" vs. "not stock" argument.

If your car stays stock, you are NOT an automotive enthusiast. Even if you have a 663hp (stock hp) 2013 GT 500. You just do not get cars if you keep it stock.

A true enthusiast tinkers, modifies, builds, designs, etc.

I would be ASHAMED if I drove a car that I never touched. I can't handle stock. Most of us on this forum can't either.

Now back to getting tuning availability for the 2012+ Focus.

I just can't help but wonder why all the business minds in this thread that have figured out the millions of dollars to be made, haven't mortgaged everthing they own, and started their own business to fill this obvious need instead of bad mouthing a successful company for not doing what you want?

There are the clueless "enthisasts" that just slap on whatever they can buy at Pep Boys which isn't the same as some body who knows and truly enjoys their cars.

I can see people who buy high horsepower cars and don't mod them but maybe still races and enjoys the car is still an enthusiast.
