Don't pass just because of that. I upgraded my amp and speaker in mine and it freaking rocks. Don't discount an 8" sub, especially if you like actually listening to music over making your trunk rattle.

I totally agree. There is a decent pioneer sub on crutchfield that's only 3" deep. Just $150 for this, another $160 for the sub, and at least that much for a decent amp to run it...plus wiring. That's over my allowed budget at this moment.

Is there a harness near the tail light? The connector for the amp is rear facing so I'm thinking it wouldn't be in exactly the same spot as mine, more rearward. For this to work in my car, I would need to turn the amp around so the harness would reach.

EDIT: Just checked it out. Unfortunately there is no additional harness. There is a clip holding the current harness in place that has an open area for an additional harness, but no dice. This makes me a
