Yea, but I couldn't just park the car in the middle of the hwy and climb the hill to take the photo.

For the east end of the Phoenix valley, it is one of the best. There are some other good roads, but they are a little further away. This spot is about 20 miles from my driveway.

Too many cops on that road most of the time, but its a fun road for sure. Nice pic too!

Yea, you have to choose your time wisely. I usually cruise in and have fun on the way out, and do that late in the day when LEO's are leaving and or left the canyon. This way, at least you will both be going the same direction. A spirited run into the canyon late in the day, a very bad idea.
