Yeah I did take the rear wheels off. Mine all sit vertical. I had no problems with the install. Took me around an hour to get them on. Pretty easy install once you get going.

The RB flaps are top of my list for when I'm no longer unemployed.

You guys are destroying the looks of the MK3 with those big ole mud flaps? The OEM ones look sharp enough.

Everyone has opinions and I respect yours but me and others that own RB's will agree that we are not "destroying the look" of the MK3 if the "look" I'm going for is to have a rally oriented car! The way I customize my car being 18 years old is going to be worlds different than that of a 30-40-50 year old simply because there are many different accepted styles from those time periods! I come from the time where I grew up playing Need for Speed and the Colin McRea rally game and I fell in love with the look! Now feel free to come back to us if you see us buying Walmart hood scoops, Chrome side engine vents, and writing ST on the back with the chrome Autozone letters and ill give you permission to slap me, But please don't come into the thread that says After market Mud Flaps and expect to see the POS OEM plastic guards and then bash us on the RB's ;)

Peacocking oversized mud flaps draws attention to the mud flaps. Doesn't make sense to me why someone would want to draw attention to mud flaps. Kinda like autozone hood scoops or cheese ball side vents. Maybe on an awd vehicle, and that's a stretch.

At least the OEM ones fit properly and are not crooked looking.

The MK3's have nice lines, those street sweeper mud flaps do an injustice to the looks of the car.
