Going back to Sport Automatic mode

Hello all!

Please bear with me as I try to find the best way to explain my question.

Other then physically shifting from Sport Manual back to Drive back to Sport, is there any other way of getting out of Sport Manual to Sport Auto?

Nope, you have to move the shift lever to drive and back to s auto

Good question...I wish you could hold the up-shift button for 2 seconds and have it return to auto mode.

I wish the shift buttons were paddles on the wheel (like they should be) and if they were, holding both for 1 second would be a good way to return to auto mode. Sadly we only have the stupid shift lever switches...

Mine does that. I can hold 'upshift' for a couple seconds and the mode goes back to sport-auto(the manual numbering disappears on the instrument cluster but the shift lever is still in the Sport position)

Not sure if this is because I have a later build or not.

Interesting, I wonder what update I'd have to get to take advantage of that. My DCT is running great so I don't want to mess things up there.

Ford didn't seem to have performance driving in mind with the overall operation of the DCT and that rocker switch to change gears is a joke. At least could'a had a manu-shift stick option.

So you can switch your shifter to the S and at some point trigger the gear you want so it holds it, etc. Then just hold the UP lever on the shifter for a solid 2 secs and it goes back to just s-mode?

I must have been high the other day, I thought for sure I held the + for a couple of seconds and the number in the cluster disappeared and it went back to sport-auto mode.

Unfortunately it does not, I wish it did now... Sorry guys for getting hopes up.
