I brought my car in when it was shuddering in the parking lot and jumping into 2nd and 3rd gear and test drove it with a technician. They scheduled time to look at my car and they said they didn't find any oil on the bellhousing, but that they were going to do TSB 11-12-13 anyway. (which is good considering the tech drove it and said that the way the car was driving he was surprised I hadn't gotten in an accident already).

I got my car back after the clutch assembly being on back order for 3 weeks and it drives amazingly smooth now. It seems underpowered and more of a slush box now, but at least it isn't jerking around anymore. The tech said the seals were bad and they found it was contaminated with oil, even though there were no signs of a leakage on the outside of the bellhousing. They replaced my clutch assy with what apparently is the newest version (BV6Z-7B546-B). I'm glad I was able to finally get the dealership to replace it, this was my 4th visit (lemon law if the transmission ends up failing again).

The car drives (for now) the way a new car should drive. I can say I actually enjoy driving my car finally! Now they just need to fix MFT (even 3.5.1 is bad), and all the other small minor issues.

I have not brought the issue up about MFT because it doesn't fail drastically enough anymore. Since 3.5.1 most of the catastrophic failures don't happen anymore, but the performance of the system is still poor. For a system that I paid a premium $$$ tag for, I would expect it to work as well as an iPad does (basically the same price!). Dragging the GPS map with your finger: shouldn't jump around and should be responsive. Entering an address: shouldn't pause a split second after typing a letter or number. From backing up with the backup camera displayed to going into drive: camera display should turn off instead of randomly getting stuck on. Bluetooth phone pairing: doesn't always connect. These small minor issues are what prevent most people to see the product as something worth paying for vs a unpolished turd.

If there is actually an upgrade to the hardware behind the MFT (the i.MX28 SoC from Freescale) or to the OS it uses (MS Auto), that I am not aware of, then please let me know and I would happily waste more of my time at the dealership getting it replaced.

all those times they said that how it is its normal.

I too feel slight jerks and i mean slight at low rpms 1st to 2nd only

Do you think the upgraded mazda mounts will help?

Just got my 2012 back. They replaced clutch and seal that was leaking. It runs like a different car. It never ran this good. Not even brand new. I sure hope it stays this way! I love it right now. Was ready to drive it off a cliff and end it's misery before this fix. Sure wish Ford would have looked and corrected this first, rather than going through all the software updates. I steered a lot of potential owners away from a purchase with my transmission stories.
