lowering springs, do I need new struts/ shocks

Exactly. Ford Racing makes shocks for all 00-11 that are SVT spec, even though the SVT suspension only applies specifically to 00-05.

I agree with this although I still run my stock struts with the 2" drop, they do take a toll on the stock struts. Even though they are wore out I actually like the ride better than any other adjustables I've rode on, with others cars.

Do you know where you can buy the 2 as a package? Also how much of a drop do you get with the ford springs? Do you have any pictures? Trying to get an idea of how much lower I want my car, all I know is I think stock rides to high and soft... haha

The FRPP is the same as SVT focus height. About .5 drop.

That makes no sense at all. There are plenty of people on here who have lowing springs on SVT dampers and haven't had a single problem. Not sure how they would bend by lower ride height.

FRPP springs are 1.5. SVT is .5 - .75

Sweet. Does anybody happen to know the difference between eibach and FRPP springs? Like how they feel and ride, I want something stiffer but my car needs to remain functional. There are also quite a few rough roads around where I live, I don't want my teeth rattled loose.

Eibach Pro spring rates F: 137 lb/in R: 171 lb/in
FRPP spring rate F: 120~160 lb/in R: 110~280 lb/in

Eibachs will be stiffer for daily driving. FRPP will be softer for daily driving but stiffer during more spirited driving due to the progressive spring rate.

Massive can't seem to find a pair on their. Could I also just run SVT shocks and struts? they seem to be a little cheaper and easier to find...

so I finally got myself some KYB shocks/ struts, I'll let you know this summer how the ride feels
