It may be in the service plan document provided when you actually buy one.

Flood was slightly higher when I looked, and anderson koch was the lowest, but its all slightly fungible based on deductibles, rental coverage, etc. It all comes down to personal preference in the end if its close enough to not matter.

Zeigler was way high though last I checked, but others swear by them so its up to the op to decide where and what they want to buy.

It all goes into ford and would show up in oasis anyway once its active.

Technically it is a wear component like a manual clutch disk, as it is essentially a pair of friction disks with pressure plates between them, etc... A well shifted manual shouldn't need a clutch in 100-125k either though.

I purchased the 5yr/75k mile PremiumCare ESP when I bought the car so it's nice to know that the most worrisome part is covered beyond the factory warranty.

The car is coming up on 15k miles and it hasn't had major problems yet. Just the occasional DCT lag when I want it to go. The service department at Landmark Ford has been exceptional at taking care of the minor issues.

With the 5/75k mile premium care ESP that means the car is covered for just 15,000 additional miles and zero more years on the power train which already has a 5 year 60,000 mile warranty, and 2 years and 39,000 miles on the other covered components under the 3 year 36k factory bumper to bumper warranty.

If you were concerned about not racking up sufficient miles but needed more time a 7 year policy may have been better even at the same mileage as that would buy you more time. However the more time and or miles covered the greater the cost of the service plan.

Just a thought as the ESP starts from the date the car was sold even though it may have been purchased at a later date, so in 5 years from the date of sale it would be coming up on the end of the power train warranty at that point.

Thanks for the info suss6052. The main reason I purchased the ESP was for the maintenance, I just don't have the time to service my vehicles anymore. Besides by the time the warranty is up I'll be ready for a new car anyway. I feel a mid-life crisis coming on in the form of a Mustang, Focus ST, or an STI...or something like that.

Did you purchase the maintenance contract as well as the service contract/ extended warranty?

Those are separate items, the maintenance plan only covers things like oil changes and tire rotations afaik, and is separate to any extended warranty coverage.
