So I called FSWerks and talked to the guy who always picks up... must be the owner... and asked him about the affects that new england weather will have on thier cool flow intake. He said to go with the ITG Filter with the PRe-Filter. ITs better with water as it doesnt retain as much. As far as driving through a 7inch deep puddle goes, welllll dont. but the crappy splashy wet and sticky road services shouldnt do too much harm on the ITG. He said the piping of the intake goes well behind the bumber away from splashing water. He also said the reason he put the GREEN filter on is because people like choices. ITs just as quality made as the ITG but is a different material. GREEN is AMerican Made and ITG is British

ive driven through quite a bit of fresh snow and a large amount of snow. (im also lowered about 1.5 inches all around) and never had an issue. as long as you don't submerge the filter in water you are fine. thats why the splash guard is there.
