Plasti*dip wheel covers
I am thinking of Plastidipping my SFE wheel covers black. Is the best thing to use tape on the center caps or do you have another idea?
Is the best prep work just hitting them with some dawn and water to clean? Thanks, Joe

Honestly I like the look of clean black steelies better than any hubcap but:
you could just spray dip the whole cover then go around the center with a razor blade and then peel that part off. and yeah just make sure theyre clean

When I painted mine, I used tape and just cut it to make it round. Came out decent. But black hubcaps aren't very good looking to be honest. lol
