wheels on a MK3

I'm currently looking for wheels & wondered what the bolt pattern is on the MK3. I'd love to get black wheels with some offset.

On the MK3 you can safely go anywhere from 40-55 in the offset with an 18" x 8" wheel. Any lower than 40 and you will be past the fenders.

Ehhh...

Dyn085 is running 20mm spacers in the back on +55 wheels which brings the total to +35. They ARE NOT outside of the fenders and about as flush as it can get while still being inside the fender on suspension compression.

I have a +40 offset on mine and I don't have an issue. They sit about flush with the fenders.

A size I'm looking at is 18x8 ET35 Front18x9 ET40 Rear, would these fit?

The rear wheels have a slightly larger fender well so the larger spacers would work there. It's best not to "buy" wheels in two different offsets if you plan to rotate them As when you put the 35 offset wheels to the front I would bet you're just barely past the fenders.

So prob best to have the 40 all the way around, Im not worried about the rotation of the tires, to rotate, if I use same size tires all the way around, you can still rotate them, just rotate them off the rims lol
