You shouldnt have any issue with the MAF, just make sure its going the correct way. So pay attention when you take your MAF sensor out which way the flow is going. The FSwerks will accept it perfectly, just dont over tighten the screws.

follow those two pointers and all will be well.

there are a LOT of people running the FSWerks intake and have nothing but good things to say about it. being in an area with high temps i would def recommend that over the steeda short ram as well. you'll be happy with the fswerks one regardless of which filter you use.

They both work great. The Green filter is a different design and costs us less so we charge less than our ITG filter. The ITG air filter is a bit easier to clean.

Some people really just prefer one design over the other so we're giving you the choice. :)

Anyone have any experience with driving the fswerks cai in snow? Like light fresh powder. I had to drive in it the other day and was really concerned. I have the splash guard and all. Just concerned with how easily soft snow could get sucked up into the filter.

I drive in the snow every time it snows here in Ohio and they dont ever plow my neighborhood. I have not noticed any ill effects or the filter getting wet because of the snow. Between the oil and the foam element on the filter, it would be really difficult to get snow sucked into it. That and if there is snow on the ground, chances are its still below 30* and the snow will not melt if it hits the filter.

It's supposed to snow here again this weekend. I'll check the filter after driving to see if anything looks like is hitting it or sticking to it but i doubt we will get dumped on.

always a good idea to take it easy during snow or heavy rain. try not to take it over about 3k rpm and you should be fine.

The splash guard I'm talking about is the big plastic cover that runs along the bottom of your font bumper. Unless you unknowingly ripped it off, you have one.

I also have the outerwear prefilter. I don't ever drive through puddles anyway, but there'll always be that one time at night and you can't see or when you're just not paying attention and can't get out of the way in time.
