this, 99% of the users on this site will have little to no experience with that style Focus...we didnt get them in the states. Are you able to find a focus that has the manual in it to verify what it means? Our US spec manuals will be of no help either

I know I don't have one - If I had a source I'd more than willing to share it.

Based on experience, sometimes the obvious is most often overlooked - even if there is a manual in the glovebox, not that there may be.

Why guess? - that could get expensive. Or just watch your rpm's when driving and see if the tach is consistent with gear/rpm and illumination.

Replaced #4 Piston, Rings, Rod+Bearings, AERA Re-Manufactured Cylinder Head and a light Hone. Then CLEANED the hell out of everything.
60k+ miles.

The shift light is an upward facing red arrow.
That small round LED you mention is a check light.
I suggest plugging in an OBD reader to pull codes.
