The one line is crimped and ran into the fender so i really couldnt get a shot of that, the hose is attached to the breather, which is ziptied to a coolant hose under the manifold.

Bump.

Bought this pulley but it was from the hybrid(only one close, as the other uses hydraulic power steering not electric).

Which is actually a tensioner and looks nothing like this. It will work for now but much prefer the style pictured.

Any more verification on exactly what year this came off of?

Hope that helps...

I understand that.

There is however no 2006 Escape with electric steering aside from the hybrid.

I purchased the pulley from that, its a belt tensioner and looks nothing like the photos.

Hmmm...

Wonder if there were different variants.

Tensioner at the top with a pulley at the reg. tensioner location would make belt changing easier...

Just tryin' to think how that one would work easiest.

The hybrid has a water pump, crank and tensioner. No alternator, AC or idler.

I own the top cog of that now. It should still work, but adding a second tensioner is just asking for issues.

I still want to figure out what year this came off of. First year for electric steering was '08 and that was primarily mercury models.

Yep.

And it doesn't come with the pulley you have.

So what trim/year did yours really come from?

Well I replaced the motor on a 2006 and I took this and the intake manifold off of it. so I know it came off an 06 I work at ford it was an older body style but I just did some searching on google on looks like it was a one year bracket from 2008 only used on the escape/mariner hybrids
